It stretches and compresses again and again as logs  shrink and settle, without pulling away. Yet it remains the traditional  mortar look. Log Jam is easy to apply and cleans up with water. It  comes in a number of different colours and can be stained over. Log  Jam, when applied properly, has a five year warranty and is the only  chinking product in the market to hold a UL-1 hour fire rating.  Log Jam is available in 5-gallon bulk pails and in cases of 10 x 29 oz.  standard large caulking tubes. For the bulk pails you will need a  refillable caulking gun (DL59-T13 Albion Gun) and appropriate  nozzles. the 29 oz. tubes require the standard large caulking gun that  can be purchased from your local hardware store.  Log builder Caulk is the caulk that satisfies the demanding  needs of a log home.
