When restoring a log structure  with rot, fungus, insect or mould problems, this is the “STOP”  product you need. In effect Tim-Bor will arrest what is happening  and give long term protection from these problems re-occuring.  Any replacement logs should be liberally treated with Tim-Bor  before being placed into a log structure. Spraying crawl spaces  and under spaces of buildings with Tim-Bor will greatly reduce the  possibility if fungus and mould growth.  IMPELL:  Solid Borate Rods can get protection into areas that  are vulnerable to rot such as the bearing areas of posts and base  courses of log systems.
