Ken Reid
Owner & President of Norlog
Ken Reid proudly leads Norlog, carrying on the vision and legacy of his parents, Ron and Cheryl Reid, who founded the company in 1979. With over 45 years of family tradition behind him, Ken has become a trusted name in the Canadian log home industry — known not only for his technical knowledge, but also for his integrity, kindness, and personal approach to every customer.
For Ken, Norlog is not about sales — it’s about service. He believes in building strong relationships, listening to every customer’s needs, and providing the right solutions so people can love their log homes again.
From construction and restoration to staining, sealing, and preservation, Ken ensures every homeowner receives guidance and support they can rely on.
Beyond Norlog, Ken is deeply rooted in his community. He served as a ski patroller at Snow Valley for over 25 years, alongside his love of fishing, skiing, and spending time with family, friends, and his dogs.
Most of all, Ken is an amazing husband, a proud bonus dad, and a man whose dedication and heart make his family — and his community — proud every day.

Ken’s wife, Sarah, now manages the website and social media, helping to carry on the legacy and keep customers connected. Together, we ensure Norlog is not about sales — it’s about service, trust, and helping you bring your log home dream to life.
